She has been with North Shore for 6 years, with this being her third year working as the set designer for the NSMS Masquers team. Theater has always been a part of Caitlin’s life growing up, with performances in the pit orchestra while in high school for shows Thoroughly Modern Millie, Guys & Dolls, and Oklahoma! When asked to join the Masquers team as set designer, she jumped at the opportunity! Caitlin is currently studying at Queens College to receive her Master’s Degree in Music Education, and recieved her under- graduate degree in Music Education from Ithaca College, where she performed with the Concert Band, Brass Ensemble, Campus Band (alto saxophone), and the Jazz Lab Band. Ms. Mallon loved her time at Ithaca, as it provided her with many opportunities to expand her musical career, including the opportunity to work with renowned musician, Wynton Marsalis. Now, in her free time, Ms. Mallon enjoys playing trumpet in the Northwinds Symphonic Band, directed by Helen Bauer and Brandon Bromsey, the Port Washington Community Band directed by Aaron Prindle, and the Northport Band directed by Don Sherman.
